Summary: Light Yagami's life changed the day he came across a mysterious notebook laying on the ground. On the cover of this notebook was written "Deathnote" . Curious as too what was inside the notebook , Light opened it to find some rules written on the inside front cover . One of the rules stated : That whoever name is written in this book will die . Light , taking this rule as a joke,  wrote a persons name in the notebook.....after a few seconds...the person died of a heart attack. Now convinced that the "Death note" is real. Light comes up with a brilliant idea to rid the world of all injustice and wrong doers . However how far will light go ...to save the world from wrong doing?

When Takeya takes a look behind the bushes he finds a beautiful DearS alien named Ren. After Takeya helps Ren from the bushes , Ren chooses Takeya to be her master. However Takeya has no idea of the Slave-master lifestyle that Ren lives by. So while Takeya and Ren live together , He tries to teach her how to live a normal human life , which is far from easy for poor Takeya.

Now the proud Japanese race are called elevens and their nation is called Area 11 , no longer does Japan have the rights or identity it once had.  Thats where Lelouch's story comes in, lelouch is a exiled prince of Britannia .When one day his life changes when he meets  C.C.  A pretty green haired girl that grants Lelouch  the power of Geass.  Now , with the power to completely control a person's mind, Lelouch begins the rebellion against his own country Britannia!

Quickly Kazuki finds out that it was far from being a dream, and the only reason that he's alive is because the girl,Tokiko, that he saved last night put a machine called a Busou Renkin into his body as a replacement heart. Now with the Busou Renkin Kazuki is able to call forth a powerful lance , called the sunlight heart and help Tokiko in the fight against the Homunculi and their master.

Well that peace goes to hell when a breed of human-turned Demoniacs start to appear.

                 Summary: Ten years ago a war raged against the Kowloon children.  The Sliver Blade Aka Jirou was the only one to have defeated them....or so he thought! Now ten years later Jirou returns to Japan with his little brother Kotarou.  Only to find out that some of the Kowloon children have survived through the Holy War and want to break into the "Special Zone"    A zone that is protected by an invisible barrier which wont let in a single Kowloon Child into the Zone , with out being invited  first. When Kotarou gets kidnapped by the Kowloon Childern.  Jirou is once again forced to pick up his blade and fight to protect his little brother!

Excel Saga Reveiw 2/27/2012

 Ok so last night i finished watching the Excel Saga series which is a really funny and crack filled series. But hey i like anime like that every once and a while.  So since its the latest anime that I've completed im going to review it today.

Summary: The evil organization ACROSS is trying to take over the world. Senior officer Excel and Newly Recruited Hyatt belong to this organization. Under their leader, Il Palazzo, orders they go out into the world in hopes of taking control of the world. However ...with Excel's idiotic and crazy personality and Hyatts calm and quiet,yet always puking up blood and dying, personality. These two end up in some pretty crazy situations.

Basilisk Review 2/24/2012

Dudes and Dudettes...not to brag or nothing..but in all my years of watching anime i have completed 77 anime series. Now thats way more than i could ever fit into 12 short weeks of this college .... experiment..lets say. But   even when this Experiment is over i will keep reviewing anime. So lets begin this journey at the top of my list shall we .  However i might have to pass over some of the more Mature anime series for the meanwhile. So lets start at

Dementia-Anime with Characters that might be falling into Insanity or is already crazy

Historical-Takes place around a historical time , place , and/or event in history

Music-Anime that is focused on a rock/pop group

Sci-fi-Anime that might take place in the future, or have some kind invasion happening

Sports-Anime that focuses on a type of sport , like baseball , tennis ect..

Demons-Anime with demons in it

Horror-Anime that is scary

Mystery-Where there is a case to be solved

Seinen-this is anime mostly for college age males

Superpower-Where the characters have powers

Drama-A serious anime with a dark or serious plot

Josei-aimed at women , this is a very rare anime genre  and not much is published in the west

Parody-anime that makes fun of something

Shoujo-or the short term Shojo. Which is similar in writing to Shojou which means a note or letter , or Shoujou which means symptom of a disease. This is anime aimed at girls

Supernatural-Anime that has creatures that go bump in the night or have weird things going on

Ecchi-this is perverted anime

Kids-anime made just for little kids

Police-Anime about a certain police force

Shoujo Ai-This focuses on the Relationship between two females and usually doesn't have any explicit content, unlike in Yuri



Thriller-Anime that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Anime Genres pt 1 2/12/2012

There are tons and tons of different Genres to describe what an anime is about . Today and Tomorrow i'll go over all these Genres. So please bare with me and i swear after we get through the Genres i'll start to do anime reviews ^.^ But its always important to start  with the basics.

                                                         Anime Genres


Action: Anime that has a lot of fighting /violence involved

Fantasy: Anime that might take place in a magical place, or have magical characters or creatures . 


Magic: Has Characters that can use magic . 



Psychological: Anime that might make you think , or have a character with a psychological disorder



Shounen: This is anime for boys, where there is a lot of fighting and adrenalin involved 

Vampire: Anime with vampires involved 

Adventure: Where the Character's go on a quest to find something , or take down a evil king 

Game:  Anime where the Characters are playing a virtual reality game of some sort, or they compete in real life game tournaments



Martial Arts: Anime where the main characters can do some sort of Martial art

Romance: Anime about love 

Shounen Ai: Which when translated means Boy love , This is the lighter side of boys love..mostly revolving around the love and romance of boys love...not what goes on in the bedroom lol

Yaoi: Is the more hardcore , porngraphic side of a boys love story.

Cars: Anime that is focused on Racing cars 

Harem: Usually has one male/female surrounded by a group of the oppistie sex  

Mecha: Anime with large robots roaming around

Samurai: Anime with Samurai in it 

Slice of life: Anime that relates to real life issues

Yuri: This is GirlXGirl anime , the Oppiste of yaoi

Comedy: Anime that is funny

Hentai: Anime porn


Military: Anime that revolves around a military base 

School: Anime that is mostly set in a school

Space: Anime thats set in space
